Web & Brand Fonts

Our typography system reflects the bold, confident and approachable voice of Georgia Southern. We use a carefully selected trio of Google Fonts to maintain clarity, hierarchy and personality across all brand materials.

Inter serves as our primary headline typeface. Its clean geometry and contemporary design deliver a strong, modern presence—perfect for grabbing attention and anchoring our most important messages. Inter’s versatility and digital-first design make it ideal for both web and print environments.

Bitter is our secondary display font, used for subheads. With its sturdy, serif structure, Bitter brings a subtle sense of tradition and formality that complements the boldness of Inter. It’s especially effective when used to introduce supporting ideas, adding contrast and sophistication without distraction.
